The Wigwam Resort

 

The Wigwam Resort, in Litchfield Park has been a relaxing and active retreat for many guests in its 100 years of service. Established in 1918 as a retreat for executives of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, the Wigwam quickly became a household name. Its popularity grew to the point that it was opened up for more guests and was officially established as a full-service resort in 1929. This Wigwam was exclusive in that it only allowed 24 guests allowing an elite retreat for those who could visit.

 

The Wigwam Resort today hosts over 331 spacious “casitas,” seventy of which are suites. Guests are given in-room coffee service, cable television, refrigerator, and wireless internet. Huge private patios can treat guests to a view of the pool, tennis court, or golf course depending on its location. Guests will be able to play on three championship golf courses or choose from nine tennis courts. Relaxation is undeniable at any of the three swimming pools and families will delight in the 25-foot dual water slides! The Wigwam is still catering to conferences to this day with its 25 meeting rooms and 55,000 feet of the outdoor meeting area. The Wigwam prides themselves on their beautiful, spacious golf courses. Each course is designed to allow for a pure golf experience. Each course is accented with canals, streams, and lakes sure to bring a challenge to all guests. The resort is home to three 18-hole championship golf courses.
