What the Buyers & Sellers Need to Know
Buyers: Interest rates dropped throughout the month. Even with more inventory on the market, the homes priced between $150,000 and $350,000 are often receiving MULTIPLE offers.
On a positive, we have a higher proportion of FHA and VA buyers closing on homes. Remember, you will usually get a good price or good terms (concessions/ contingencies), but rarely both.

Sellers: Buyer activity has slowed down and the number of active listings continues to increase, which is unusual for this time of year. COVID-19 is the likely culprit.
Thankfully, home values have not (yet) suffered, and the average sales price remains relatively stable. With the increasing competition out there, staging and pricing your home well will be even more critical than before.
